Practicality & Emotion - Mercedes B-Shooting Space 2013

In my second semester i was lucky to spend 6 months at the Mercedes Design Center in Sindelfingen as an intern. It was amazing, a learned a lot. My project was to design a funky coupe based on a B-Class and build some interesting functions into the design. We called this project "Practicality & Emotion" because wanted to keep the practicality of an MPV (multi purpose van) but put it in a coupe shape. It was very interesting. Here are some sketches
My mentors were

Jaguar E-Type concept 2012

It was my first real car design project. It was before I started studying transportation design.
Sam Sayer, the legendary Malcolm Sayer grandson (who designed the original E-type) said:
“Of the modern E-type interpretations I have seen Yours is the most stunning!”
